Look, don't pay those dog training guys. Just go out and hunt.
Damn hell has frozen over, but I kind of agree with Goose. There is a caveat in that you should take the dog to obedience classes, if nothing else just to socialize,by having decent habits around other people and dogs. Almost any where you live there will be some hunters that get together to train. Rookies are always welcome to throw birds or do other grunt work. Just get a decent bred dog and have fun.Look, don't pay those dog training guys. Just go out and hunt.
I hope you are right. I’d hunt till the day I die if possible. That's life expectancy at birth. Quite different than life expectancy at age 36! Every year you live you add on time to your life expectancy. Your LE is into the 80s right now. By the time you're 60 it will be over 85. When you're 80 it will be closer to 90. When you're 90 it ill be 94 or higher. If you're still hunting it will be over 100!
I'm right on the numbers as a whole. Your particular results may vary. A good rule of thumb is to find out what your LE is then add and subtract 5 years from that. That's about 2 standard deviations. Over 95% of people at your current age will live to be within that 10 year age bracket. (That's if you are individually underwritten and have a life expectancy prediction made. This is how life insurers price policies. ii used to be friends with the actuary at Midland National in Sioux Falls and we talked about fun stuff like this. )I hope you are right. I’d hunt till the day I die if possible.
