Tired of hunting for your bird dog???

The breeding of Goodgoing Classic Zeus X Hard Scrabble Maggie resulted in four female pups whelped on August 18th. We are now excepting reservations for the pups, which are not yet spoken for. The pups will be $800.00 dollars each, picked up in Sullivan, IL at seven weeks of age.

Rymans Blue Return X Rymans Orange Heather will be found on thirteen lines of their pedigree; this will be the most intense
concentration of these two foundation dogs I am aware of anywhere. This mating has been the foundation of most of the successful breeders of the Ryman- Type Setter of today, consistantly insuring hips far better than the average setter.

The out cross to Zeus; a grandson of 4xCH Brannigan (a great winner and producer of many great field trial champions) will intensify the desire to hunt, point, retrieve and still be very biddable with an outstanding temperament.

These pups will have incredible confirmation and good looks and can be a great addition to many Ryman- Type breeding programs
or easily become the foundation of a new one.

Sincerely,

Bob Corkill

hum- thought this was a post of folks tired of looking for bird dogs
bells, beepers, Garmin GPS's- somthing new in a better way of a search

my Shadow just fathered a litter of pups- pups are two days old and all have been spoken for

If cuteness is a measure of a future huntin' dawg, that uns gonna be a dandy!

Hey Shadow

This post is getting a fair amount of attention on this and one other forum. I guess there are more run aways being weighted down with the equipment you mentioned than we know of. It might be smarter to select dogs bred to work at medium and close range. Could save a lot of $ on equipment and some cussin and carrying on.

What breed is that shadow dog of yours?

Thanks
Bob

Brassy, why don't you just bring that one by the house?????? A tri belton could find a home here, and I don't even have a problem finding my dogs! I already have a lot of Brannigan in my dogs. Ryman, not so much.

High Brass- Brittany- Shambo's Dark Shadow is his father

I like em with wheels- but inside 1/4 mile- need just Garmins on mine
think even a big runner could have been a close ranger if started real young and encouraged to stay in

Drifter, sure am excited about this little bit of an outcross from the old Ryman lines. The 4 girls sure look good.

Shadow, It sounds like you must be one of those lucky guys that live out on the prairie somewere. A hunt in Illinois is going to a preserve, being put in a 4 acre field of tramped down weeds, with a half dozen pen raised birds that can't fly. If I was 25 yrs younger and with out my big belly I could better play your game. I guess all I can do now is admire you and the hunting you enjoy. In the mean time I sure enjoy my Ryman bred dogs.

After years of English Setters, some Pointers, pictures like that make me wonder why I went to French Britts! Although I wouldn't want another Frenchie, I wouldn't take anything for em either!

Bob, when you come into Wichita with that girl, turn right on Kellogg, go about 50 miles and I'll be on the left:) Nice pups!

High Brass- moved out to the farm 4 years ago- picture shows my 1/2 mile back yard- you are correct- big open country arround here

I had a female English Setter, hunted her for 12 years with my male Britt- she wasn't a big runner- she was a sweatheart of a dog-
I have very fond memories or her

HighBrass, those are some nice looking setter pups.

chucklng Setternut- we have very few trees in this whole country- I shoot out that window at coyotes way out there- they aren't going anywhere

and anyway- that's out the back window of my hunting room- you should see the view out the picture window- next tree, bush, farm, is 2 miles- I have nice binoculars- can see them when they walk out their door
