Starter pistol/blank pistol

Anyone have any luck finding one used at pawn or gun shop? I cant get myself to pay a few hundred dollars for a gun that fires blanks. If you have other suggestions, I'll hear those too.

I just used a 22. I found some blanks for it. I,ve used 22 shorts then lr. I assume you’re trying to get a dog trained to the sound of the gun.

I use their LCS Champ Blank Pistol in .22 cal. Built very well and highly recommend it. Believe they are around 85.00.
