Last weekend Max and I attended the 2014 NAVHDA Invitational. I think there were some 150 dogs this year.
The test went very well for us and out of 200 points, Max earned 196 points and is now a Versatile Champion!
I am very proud of this dog. He is my once in a life time dog.

Max has completed his tests in JGHV and NAVHDA with top scores in ALL his tests. He also only had taken each test once. This is something that doesnt happen often and he is the only one in our breed to accomplish this.

Ok, I will stop now...........I am just proud of him.

IThis was taken at the double marked retrieve. I wasnt breathing...as you could tell. Max was calm as a cucumber.

Just click on "User CP" in the header bar. That takes you to your profile. Then scroll down the left side and you will see a link to "Edit Signature".

And congrats to you and Max!

Keep us informed! I predict good things.:)

Congrats. We had two dogs from the Midwest Tri State chapter there that Qualified, a Vizla (BEST IHAVE EVER SEEN AS HE LOVES THE WATER WHICH SOME DON'T) the other I am not sure.

I saw a VI get a pass. Wonder if it was from your chapter?

Good luck Jarbo.

I will say this, and probably catch hell for it later, but UT was harder than the invitational by far.
Max and I trained for a total of maybe 5 weeks and that was just on backing.

That said, Max had a pretty good foundation on him up to the invitational. He had already run all of his JGHV tests. In those tests he got a look at blind retrieves and off leash obedience.

So, if your foundation is there and you arent a worrier like I am, it should be a fun journey.
