John Deere 4000 gasser. JD only made about 170 of these tractors from 1968 to 1971 (gas and diesel, but the gassers are rarer I think) 5100 hours 90 hp

the disc is an Oliver 250 series.

JD 7000 4 row wide I picked up 4 years ago for $700.00!

I also have a JB 4 row cultivator and a JD 27 4 row stalk chopper for all my heavy duty mowing.

I have ten acres. I plant two food plots and one field of sweetcorn that I alternate year to year.

Label me jealous! I've got similar acreage and can't justify spending a lot and the only stuff I see that low is typically in need of a full restoration to get it functional again.

I got that 7000 from a friend, that said he was done row cropping his food plots. Two years later, he bought another 7000 only this time, he had to give 1900 for it.

This years food plot.. 2 rows Sunflowers, 2 rows Milo.

I have a 7 foot snowblower on the back of the 4000 now, and it doesnt bother me a bit that I havent started the tractor all winter!
