Rem TCi 105 questions

Does anyone have any insights or options on the Remington TCi 105 shotguns? I see a used one in a local gun store for $600, it has an extended mag on it, not use if the normal caps/spring would fit it if I want to remove it...and are they just normal Rem Chokes? The pulls up like a a Rem shotgun and it feels way lighter than my 11-87.
Thanks

First ive ever heard of them. A google search tells me why-they wouldnt feed. And it days they do not use Rem chokes. I would steer clear

Thanks guys. I just saw similar things. Like the feel and fit, but might be getting someone else's problem. Looks like it had very little use...maybe there's a reason for that.

I’ve always looked at them as a left handed shooter. I wonder with the bottom ejecting pumps being successful they couldn’t make a gas operated slide work ?

Exactly, when they came out, I thought here we go with the carbon into the shotguns and bottom eject!! How cool. I was thinking if this goes, I'm getting a 20 when they come out. Then they just disappeared. Didn't know why till now.

I think Remington of old could have made it work, it was about this time the accountants took over.

Between the carbon fiber and titanium the one I handled was light weight....compared to my 11-87 anyway.

I remember reading a post somewhere about a gunsmith that figured out how to fix them. It might have been on Shotgun World or someplace like that, I just don’t remember. There was one in the Classifieds here for a very long time. When I read about being able to fix it I looked but it was no longer listed.
