Well that post in the flushers are great thing, about the guy in the wheel chair. Do you remember?
I was there today and brought Forest. She behaved like a pup but was pretty good. He showed up, and watched a bit. He got cold easy as it was a stinking 0 out again basicly. I talked with Mark and Morgan, then after a while let him know I was giving him the pup. He thought he was going to pay 800$ and has put down a deposit. He was beside him self and was floored. But he has to put the money to private lessons with the trainers. So he is still paying but for the training instead. He will be able to go out there quite a few times on that. I will supply all the pigeons for him as well. It will cost him about 20 bucks a time. Pluss he can come down from time to time with us if he wishes. But he lives only a few miles away from them in Brainerd, so for a run even after he burns up his money, will be less or the same as his gas any way. So I hope things work out for him. If not,I at least know the pup is getting good training. And will be a nice gundog. Just have to see if he can handle one I guess. Turns out his kid is sick in the hospital as well. A baby boy. So good news is what that family needed. We hung out for a couple hrs, and he felt at home in no time. Then left in anticipation, and headed to his son.
