Where I was, it started orange and then turned more red like your photo. Very nice sunset.

Actually those dumb pheasant have short tails,or no tails.Ive only run into one bunch of those in my life,and some on that fondu farm near Gregory.Montana has released a lot of those birds,and I'm totally against it. They probably don't survive much past the first two weeks of the season. Those golden eagles will feast on those things.
