Pheasant Camp!

Today we headed up to Pheasant Camp which will soon be Deer Camp to get some things in order for deer season. Along the way we decided to stop for some pheasant hunting. Tough conditions to say the least but that's what makes snow birds that more special! We put one hen in the bag and it was the only bird we saw today.






It was perfect weather to warm up in the cabin and have a nice hard earned meal!
 
Looks like fun we were up around Troy last weekend we had fun wish we had snow.. Heading back up Friday afternoon but the pup is staying home recouping..
 
Just got back from Camp and have some very promising news! Flushed and heard a number of grouse. We used to take the grouse for granted just a very short time ago and get excited only if we ran across wild pheasants up there, no so anymore!
