Well... I've started the ever so shitty process of packing for opening weekend. I'll forget something, like I usually do, but man does it feel good to get the vest out and packed, guns inspected, etc.

Good luck to everyone heading out this weekend. Be safe, and do share your stories. :thumbsup:

Oh, and leave the places you hunt looking the same, or better than they did before you drive away.

Well put Wildcat! Good luck, take plenty of water and cool clothing. Looks like mid 60's. Tell the birds I've been delayed by work, but I'll be along:) Have fun!

I'm packed and ready....
I can't find my gps - and I have the walk-in maps loaded into it.

I guess I need a GPS to find my gps.

Ready for a 20 hour ride.
 
Just dont forget to pack the gun. :)

Not gonna lie. I did that once... :( ended up carrying a single shot for the weekend... learned my lesson
 
wish i was even going out this weekend! but at the same time staying home to sit in the tree stand all weekend aint to bad either..just cant leave in early november not having killed a good a buck yet
 
Gettin' ready to lock and load! Hitting the trail at about 4 pm today. Wagons, ho!

Coming from south Georgia. This is the twelfth year out there. Almost to Mississippi.
 
Beverly Hillbilly's in Kansas

Too much stuff!!!! I am trying to figure out how to fit everying in my truck without looking like the Beverly Dang Hillbilly's. I got 3 men,2 boys and 3 dogs then all our gear plus bow hunting stuff.
So when your drivin down I-70 tomorrow and you see us just honk, wave and enjoy the site that will be our vehicle. :thumbsup:

Good luck everyone. I'm stuck working all weekend, (as usual) but will be out Monday and Tuesday to see if my dog can find any.

Good luck....I will be out in Kansasland next weekend. Heading out to eastern Colorado for opening weekend. I will be packing tonight myself.
