Greetings Everyone! I'm new to this site and am coming over here from another site, PheasantCountry.com. There will probably be more people following me. The site was over taken by SPAM and the site sponsor wouldn't do anything to fix the problem. That is until today. Their fix was to delete all posts. I'm gone!

Hope to establish some new relationships on this site and share information on the ultimate sport of pheasant hunting. I've been chasing the ringnecks for over 50 years and still love every minute in the field. Of course I have an advantage over many since I live in South Dakota. I own a 5 year old female Brittany and will be picking up a female pup in January from a breeder in Colorado.

Take care, all.

Zeb

Welcome to the site. You will enjoy it very much!

Dakotazeb, NEpheasantslayer, Geno, JPH welcome to the site. I appreciate you joining Ultimatepheasanthunting.com forum boards.

I own and operate the website so I pretty much let the users run the site. After I get some solid posts from some users, I'll be appointing forum moderators. Currently it's myself and another person. And for payment... all the site admins/moderators/anyone that helps me with the site I'll reward with Cabela's/Sportsman's Warehouse/Gander Mountain gift cards or maybe we could do a annual pheasant hunt of some kind.

Anyone else you guys can bring over to the forum, I would appreciate it.

Anyway, I'm out pheasant hunting in Gregory, South Dakota this weekend. So, I'll be checking on the site here and there between the fields.

Take care

- Ryan

PS. M.R. Byrd, I'll be implementing those suggestions you made to me a couple months back. It's still pheasant season, so I have to get out and hunt a bit

Like others, I started over at PC.

I'm in St. Cloud, MN and hunt with a Jack Russell Terrier. Yeah, it's kind of wierd, but we both have a lot of fun.

I keep a blog over here if anyone is interested.

Hello Mr. Admin

Greetings to you. I just switched over from PC today myself. Glad to see the Admin guy here is an actual hunter. Maybe the moderator on that site actually liked all the links to porn and such that was diluting the content of the site.

I'm envious, with you talking about hunting this weekend, since I did not get to come out for a hunt this year. My dog is still mad at me. It's Christmas time, Mrs. Ranger is decorating the house and now the moron [dog, not the wife] is chewing stuffed Santas and other decorations. I know he's doing it to get back at me.

Thanks for the kind words Ranger Rick. Your post made me laugh. Nice to hear the dog's chewing on all the christmas decorations. I think the dog's trying to tell you it's a grinch on the holidays.

I love this cold snow weather hunting stuff. They were quite skiddish today and didn't want to hang around to see the end of our gun barrels. I'll post some photos later.

Pudelpointer has made the move.

I am now aboard. I orignally signed up here as Uncle Buck so that I would not confuse myself so hope everyone picks up. If not I will go back to PP.
For those not familiar with Pudelpointer, I Have lived in SD 1953,started hunting pheasants at 10 years of age in 1958 and am completing my 51st continuous season here. And yes, I have Pudelpointers, currently 6.
I largely shoot side x sides, hunt all over the state tho concentrate in Miner and Sanborn Counties.
