New dog coming

I am getting a wirehaired pointing griffon from TJ out in Idaho. We can’t wait for him to here. We have been putting in food plots for birds on our farm for the past 6 years or so. We have a good amount of grouse and plan on bringing in some pheasants this year.

Congratulations sir, on your new dog and your habitat efforts! Please let us know how both turn out!

Your doing good things Stumpman.
Both the wildlife restoration and the pup.

All the above...good luck with both and congrats on your new bud!

Congrats on the new pup. Are you getting a male or female?
I'm getting a new pup also, should be born in about a week.
I was just down in "The Wilds" near Cumberland Sunday to watch a VDD natural ability test. Fun stuff. My turn next spring:)

He is a male and ready to go.he is 5 now and has been working the fields. I hope he gets here this weekend.

It sound like you will be ready to hit the ground running!
Let us know how your weekend goes. I'm sure you will have a great time!

ive always wanted to get a wirehaired pointer. hopefully someday
hope all goes well with the new dog.

Congrats! I've got a new pup on the way, too. Born this past Friday at Beirl's Setters in Mellen, WI. June 4, the pickup day will not come soon enough.

Congrats on your new pup! That's always the best news. I've got pick of the litter on a new chocolate female lab pup that was born on March 6th. She was born on the East Coast and she will have to be flown into the Midwest. A little nervous to have one flown in, but hopefully it will all go ok. Hope to have her started and onto a first bird this fall and into a show ring as well. Could be interesting :)

Don't forget to post pictures Roost. It's great to hear about all these new pups and the excitement that goes with them.
Good luck and keep us posted on your progress in the ring as well:)

I "Liked" your FB also, it's looking good! Awesome profile graphic :10sign:
I think you'll enjoy FB and networking, but you're right, it will never be as good as this forum. Good luck

I had my last pup flown in. He was a bit timid coming out of the crate, but once I coaxed him out he was all over us. He slept the entire drive home from Milwaukee to Wausau, so it was obvious the trip was tiring for him, but he seemed no worse for wear.
