I believe Garmin bought tri tronics, guessing the kept the name for the tri tronics followers...only a guess.
I lost my pup grouse hunting on a windy day around a cornfield with woods and swamp, I had no idea where he was, he was 6-7 months old and I was in a panic! I looked and yelled with no luck, I walked back towards the truck and he was sitting on the trail back to the truck like waiting for me, I was soooo happy to see him, especially with Wolves on camera up there, I went home and put up the money for the Alpha, nice piece of mind.
Lost him in cattails in SD last winter, he was on point and wouldn't move, I walked in to where he was and flushed the bird, wouldn't have had a clue where he was in 8' tall cats...and he was only about 40-50 yards deep.
