Need some burn advice

PD, in burn areas adjacent to crop resdiue (no till) what prep do you suggest? I would have corn stubble, winter wheat stubble and bean stubble. I suppose it would be best to disk these areas?

My normal rule is " there are never enough burn days to get the list completed". Therefore, if you can disk even 6-8 feet clean against the edges, you can cut your burn day work by as much as 90%. Backfiring off of these narrow disk strips or headfiring from them is much safer and faster than having to wet line the full perimeter.
