Need hunters! Next weekend!

Looking for a couple of hunters to join two of us, in southern S Dak.

We had some of our friends cancel due to personal obligations and now seek others to join us: Thursday, December 10 to at least December 14.

Site: West of Chamberlain about an hour, in Jones County. This farm has approx. 10,000 acres. Eight hunters filled out in two hours recently, there are plenty of birds!

Cost: $150 per day. Stay at a hotel - your expense.

Man I sure wish I could Jonny. Maybe next year, have a good time and give that pup an extra treat for me.:cheers:
 
Just fly into Minneapolis and we can drive out together! Thanks for the thought - we really have a slim crew and only one dog - Max.

I'm one of the dorks who can't go I would say for those thinking about it, this is an awesome opportunity to hunt a multitude of managed cover, with two outstanding gentlemen, and one of the best dogs I've ever hunted in the field with not to mention a sizeable amount of birds for a reasonable amount of money. Hey Jon made it out today after work and scratched a limit. Ol' Lilah wishes we were heading over to God's country with you guys. Tell the captain I said hi. :cheers:
 
We could both just fly in to Minneapolis and ride down with Jon Patrick.:D:cheers:

I may yet get to Gettysburg or Faulkton - Dec. 17 or 18...have a new license and would like to fill 10 day's.

Hi Joel,

Just returned from SD this afternoon - fun hunt! About 2" of snow fell on Sat. Night and it held the very nervous birds so Max could point. Three of us filled in about two hours...

Max got his first taste of a porcupine on Saturday, which cut our hunt a bit short. About $400 later, he was ready to hunt and enjoyed the afternoon!

I have one more 5-day block left on my license for SD; considering Faulkton or Gettysburg, to wind things up, although I don't need any more birds!

Well I am sorry I missed you guys. This is the first time In many, many years I have not made but one trip north. I just couldn't force it in this year. Sounds like you had a new parcel so that was good. I have to make more time to hunt as my dog is getting older fast.

Would you be open of Dec. 17 to ? Lots of snow in the south; should make for some good hunting.

Because you missed this hunt, and we have new territory to hunt, Captain Kirk has been elevated to Huntmaster...
