Nice Pics V-John

I love the one with the quail in the air. That is real action captured in a photo with beautiful scenery. That photo captures everything I like about bird hunting.

Britchaser,

I just noticed how you'd edited the thread title. Obviously having done so in response to the crap you got for not posting a pic when you started the thread. Then you didn't post a pic of your dog in the right pose, so we got the standing pic, but a broadside pose isn't what we expected. If you were any kind of friend at all, you'd get us a pic of him with the area around the external "components" of the reproductive system shaved:D Promise, we won't ask for anymore pics after that.

My mom told me stuff ain't funny when I'm the only one laughing....it never stopped me from enjoying the stupid things I said:rolleyes:

On a more serious note; ya got a good lookin' dog and you should be commended for your breed selection.

This isn't the greatest picture from my cell phone.
But I took the dogs out for a run this morning/
Ace pointed a meadowlark  but when my new pup Indy saw him he backed :D

natural backer- impressive- helps alot to have BIG DOG find and lock up where the youngster sees and goes- shit- best stop and not move-

it's what I saw in my 2 youngster- congratulations- that is a fine fine youngster- guide it- it has the potential to be a king amoung bird dogs

very nice

Thanks Shadow, he is just 12 weeks, and can't keep up or go to far yet. But that will come with time. Been pretty happy with what I see so far. Indy's nose looks to be really good, and he is retrieving some as well.

Need to get a couple of quail and do a proper bird introduction. Just been too hot and busy at work.

12 weeks- wow- I'd say Big Dog is enjoying as much as the little fella- that could become a pair that is hard to beat- I feel a youngster learns so much and so quick with a smart adult

Thank you for your commentary and (unsurprising) approval of my breed selection in a huntin' dog. I loved my first Brittany, bawled when he died, got my second one (this one) a few weeks later (8/07) which restored my happiness in life. As for your request for a "special" pic, I am thinking about that one. LOL.

Fantastic field action pic.

Looks like I'm a month late to the party here, but think there are way too many pictures of long-haired dogs in this thread. :)

As a pup
