Heading to SW Nebraska tomorrow to hunt the opener! Finally into the field after an interminable between seasons wait. :thumbsup:

I'm working my way through Wisconsin and into Iowa tomorrow to meet up with friends for the Iowa opener. Can't wait to get the pup on pheasants and see him go to work.

ranger rick i hope you have a search warrant because your gonna need one to find a pheasant in IOWA :rolleyes:.
 
I will be heading north at 4 am. I racked my back pretty good wed morning so I have been hobbling around pretty good. My wife asked if I thought maybe I should cancel. Then she thought again and dropped it:D
 
UPDATE: Tough hunting in Nebraska. See my fuller report in the Nebraska forum under the thread seeking opening weekend reports. My report is consistent with others'. I do have a bird hanging in the garage. I was inspired to hang it for a few days by another thread discussing the merits of hanging.
