I was one of the fortunate ones and didn't get sent to Nam. I was a Medic and spend the majority of my service time in Germany.

US Army Airborne Ranger 85-89 discharged due to mid-air intanglement on a recon jump. Broke 19 bones, but can still walk all day for roosters !!!

Yes sir I did. Left Iceland and headed right back to the North Sea two weeks later. Use to spend an lot of time in the gap between Iceland and Britian. Back then the Soviets tried everything they could to get past that area undetected. Thanks for reconizing that.
