I'm looking forward to the next 2 days. Monday I will be hunting with PcolaGSP (Tony) and fourtrax (Steve). Then on Tuesday I'm meeting up with Iowa Labs (Chris) for a day of hunting. We will be hunting the Doland/Redfield/Faulkton areas and others if necessary. Hopefully I can get a few photos to post here.

I really enjoy meeting and hunting with members from this site. So far I have met and/or hunted with other 20 members. I started to keep a list. Last week I was able to hunt a couple days with mgorvi (Mark) and his French Spaniel. Forgot to take a few pics. My bad!

Good luck! It's always fun to meet up with some members, I hunted with Iowa Labs (Chris) and his brother and friend yesterday. Fun guys and they love to hunt hard!

Hunted today with Dakotazeb it was a lot of fun but a bit of a hen fest! And zeb and gpowers add another member to your hunted with list dedbrd.
 
While I hunted Monday with fourtrax and PcolaGSP. We hunted hard from 10-4 and only bagged 4 birds. But a good time was had by all. Below is a photo of us and our birds. From left to right: fourtrax (Steve), myself and PcolaGSP (Tony).

On Tuesday I met up with Iowa Labs (Chris), dedbird (Justin) and friend for a day of hunting. We pounded it pretty hard but only had 4 in the bag to show for it. Saw a lot of birds. Tons of hens. Seems the roosters we saw wanted to get up just out of range.

Hey George,

Glad you could rehook with Chris and pound more public areas - I certainly enjoyed our hunt in the Faulkton area...last year? Must have been in 2011.
Anyway, Carptom is keeping us busy with hunts south and east of Pierre. Hope you have a great season!

Hunted with MObirds (Heath) and 3 of his buddies from MO. They had 2 young French Brits and 2 French Pointer pups. Got pups on some birds and had a great time. We got 8 birds,& lost 3 downed birds pups could not find. Could have shot limits all around, but our shooting was a little off, but they had a great time and pups got on good numbers of birds. Great day.
 
Had a great time hunting Monday with George and Steve. Any of you guys get a chance to hunt with them, they are good guys with good dogs! Sorry we didn't get on more birds.

Not many French Pointers (Braque Francais) around. I've never seen one only read about them. They are quite similar in appearance to the German Shorthair.
 
Member hunt

Nice to meet you Gordy and George. We had a great five day hunt. Hope to come back up 2nd week in December. Hope to hunt with u guys again some time. Justin

Justin, I'm headed back over to hunt Dec. 2nd so it sounds like I will miss you guys by a week. :(

But I should have a handle on what's happening.:D
