Medicare requiring information on guns in your home

You can continue to believe that big government is a loving wonderful thing--I however will continue to be wary. I spent 44 years either in the military or working for it--I believe in your rights as well as mine. Ten twenty years from now look around and take note of how things are then as compaired to now, I really hope its as good or better as far as personal freedoms goes--only time will tell.:)
 
Actually there really isn't much of anything I get worked up about.
Got all I need in my retirement. Been self employed for 35 years. Everything I have has been my own doing.
Never drew unemployment, never been covered by Workmens comp, never had anyone pay my taxes, had pto, or vacations, paid sick days, health insurance. I did supply all this for my employees.:)
Just saying, you can do a lot without gov assistance. Although I saw plenty of silly gov crap.:eek:

I'll get my birds with or without lead shot.:)

And I sure enough hope for a great hatch.:cheers:

Your quote "It's aquick simple test to see if you have a mental disorder". Sound's like your admission, and then you say no requirement. I never said there was a Medicare requirement, but should a Dr. ask, I know what I would say. I have not seen a Dr. since 1994.

When you talk about the right you use the term "crazies" When you identify the left, or government, it's "they" who are not out to get you or your guns.

Your leader does not believe in the validity of the Supreme Court. 70% of Americans do not want the Affordable Healthcare Act and he's on his pedestal stating a vast majority of Congress approved it when was passed in the dark and no one read it. Ginsberg discredits the document she was sworn to uphold when discussing a new constitution for the Egyptians. Kagan did not recuse herself as a result of defending Obamacare as solicitor General before being appointed to the Court. Obama does not give a damn about the Court and is not above doing it Chicago style with guns. Fast and Furious was an attempt to discredit gun dealers that back fired and American deaths are once again on the hands of the ATF and others.

Well, he was all in a up roar about current Admin requiring this kind of info because he was on Medicare. That brought my attention level to it's peak. Lit a fire under me to say the least. Well I took to investigating just what was what on this matter. Come to find out. It has nothing to do with Medicare. It is the medical Ind. taking it upon themselves to pry into your private life asking for this information. If you are put in this situation, my advise is to refuse to provide such information. It's none of their damn business. Don't let them scam you into believing this is some new government regulation. They even went as far as to tell my father-inlaw that he had to answer it or face possibly loosing his Medicare coverage.

Well if it's like a lot of people, many have no health insurance and can't afford to pay what seems to turn into $500 or more for just one visit, if you need no lab, x-ray or scan's. Unaffordable health care is the same as no health care. My health insurance Prem would be $2200 a month right now because of my illness.

This is just the beginning.:( The time's coming they'll want access to our homes to approve the foods we're feeding to our children. God knows eating too much junk food will cost the gov't too much in health care so it will be their "right" to check up on what we're eating and drinking.

"Our" gov't is putting themselves into a possession where it won't matter what we the people want.

The name of the game is GOVERNMENT ELITISTS, POWER, AND $. The voice of the good people---won't matter. I fear the time is approaching when government will do as it wants to. It's the nature of government. Always has been and always will be. Grow, gain power, gain money, gain control, and enslave the people through taxes, laws, regulations, and impossible/endless hurtles to jump through.

My family saw it first hand with the Soviets. The difference now is the slow, snail like speed gov't has been inching towards such a style of governing for the past 100 years or so. Little by little, inch by inch so we don't really notice what's going on. --Acclimation--

Something to remember. Doctors were the ones instrumental in getting Winchesters Black Talon Ammunition off of store shelves. They are nauseously anti gun. Information like this can be stored for future uses. Once in your electronic medical records. It is there forever.

Also, the medical facility in Pierre South Dakota told my elderly father inlaw if he didn't answer the questions or lied that he could be audited in his home by Medicare and if he lied he could loose his medicare. Hows that for tactics to get this information?

Hmmmm....USA Today---thought someone on this thread said this was not happening???. The follow-up questions are: How many? What kind? Where are they at? What's the combo to your safe? Serial numbers?

Obama isn't MY leader; he's President of the United States. He's OUR President. You voted for McCain. McCain lost. That's DEMOCRACY. What's your problem with Democracy?

Obama may disagree with the SCOTUS, but he knows full well that they are the final say in matters of US law. He taught Constitutional law, remember?

Americans passed the Affordable Care Act through majority vote by their elected officials. That's Democracy, isn't it? Do you want to replace Democracy? If so, with what? Rule by Uncle Buck?
