George sorry about this tough choice. It does seem to get harder as we get older. Part of it for me is as my kids have gotten older, the dogs have kind have replaced them a little. Good luck to you and your family.
 
Sorry to hear of the latest test results, George. You have made a very tough decision, but its the right one. At her age there is very little upside in attempting treatment of this insidious condition.

Sorry for your loss George,the only bad thing about having dogs is such a short amount of time to enjoy them.
