Well It is offically time to hunt ROOSTERS.:thumbsup: I loaded up the dog box then got the vest, boots, collar, and medical kit organized last night. now have to get the kids and my gear put together and make jerky for the hunt. I am shooting a new model demo gun for work and will be filming with hatcam. I think my wife will be ready for us to leave by friday. :cheers:

Loadin' up already? That's great:D It was difficult working today. Better regain and maintain the focus for the next couple days:rolleyes: I know I'll be good-fer-nuthin' Thursday. My wife thinks I'm gonna let her sleep till 8am Friday. The boys and I will be up before the sun making all kinds of noise.

Does the upland season start this weekend or something? I haven't been really paying any attention.

I did see a flock of mallards this morning wandering around looking for water. Last seen headed north towards the Mayetta, KS area.
 
I am going to get out and see if the dogs can get something pointed this weekend.
Looks like the weather is going to be a little warm on Saturday, pheasants will be a track meet if its around 70F.

Mayetta? hmmmm i know a casino in that area, if it gets to hot could stop in and play a few hands lol
 
It's about time to make those final preps.
 
May be sitting in the house looking out the window at the rain! Just saw the weather and it said there could be some locally heavy rain. Bring it!
 
I'm loading the topper on today and spending every night this week getting ready for the trip. Leaving this Sunday and not comin home til Saturday!
 
Just repaired a few dog boots to go along with the new ones. Guns cleaned, truck washed, groceries bought, new boots broke in, I think I am ready.

Duckn66 you just made me crack up, I'm waiting on my boss to come runnig in to see whats the matter with me!! I've been packed up for about a week and a half I called the hotel twice to verify my rooms are good and sent my hunting group about 6 text messages verifying they all got permission from their wives. I cant wait to get on the road. I took the dog for some shots and he just knew it was time, I think he might have been a little dissapointed when we stopped at the Vet.
