Loading up

Huh? Truck washed? Zeepo are you hunting in town this weekend?

Yeah I love my truck so I wash it before I go and when I get back. That way its not too big of a job the next time. Loading up tomorrow for a early start on Friday.

Zeepo

Loaded up! Departing at or slightly before sunrise. Though both the bird and weather forecasts are discouraging, I'm as excited as ever:cheers: I'll be real proud of the 1 or 2 birds I get this w/e, so expect an exaggerated report of a 10lb. rooster with 37" tail-feathers when I get back:rolleyes:

Gentlemen, I wish you all the best of luck and be safe out there.

Good luck to you also!

And please don't report shooting this mega-rooster in any county that I plan to hunt later. Actually, if you could report that you shot it in Wyandotte Co, that would be great.

Barber County

I live on the Oklahoma Border and I am here to tell ya it is WAY DRY. However where I will be hunting we expect to see some birds. Mostly quail I would expect but also some Pheasant. Hoping it will be a little slower than normal around her this year. HAHA. Be safe and Good luck to all.

I have never shot one in Wyandotte, although I could see one down by the river, many moons ago I did flush one in northern Leavenworth while quail hunting that scared the %%%% out of me. Good luck I will be working this weekend.

Very dry around Hays right now, and looks pretty dismal. I got here this afternoon and haven't seen a single bird.
