Here's a hen I sighted back in April in MN. She was on a WMA that you can't hunt, but trapping is allowed. Strange I know. Either way, the colorful rooster always gets so much well deserved attention, but I think a hen pheasant is a very beautiful bird as well. I hope she pulled off a successful clutch.
