Live Pheasant Photos

Very nice! Hettmoe, how many birds come through there each winter (on average)?

Nick,
During tough weather, We may see a couple dozen come here each day, but during open Winters such as this one has been, Only a few regulars show up each day. These photos are taken through my front window.

They do the same thing at my dad's place too. They only come into his yard to feed (on bird food) if the winter is really bad. The past couple years they haven't showed up. Otherwise the closest they'll come to his yard is in a hedge row (of willow whips) on the other side of a plowed corn field.

Just like everybody else, I have been admiring the good looking healthy wild living pheasant photos sent in from North Dakota, by hettmoe.

Those are the types of healthy wild pheasants that should be wild-trapped and used as brood stock, to produce (f1) new young pheasants, to expand the wild pheasant range.

They never get old. Keep them coming!

Thanks, Hockeybob and Kismet... I am very glad that you enjoy some of them.
That is sure a golden sight, Kis.:)
