Lets see some pics of your Bird dogs

Here is my red lab Bella. We had a great year! Lost only one bird this season. Had our last hunt for pheasant today . Nice flush but the rooster flew towards a pusher and dog which I couldn’t see .”
Flying low passed the shot!

This is rosey a Epaneaul Breton , French Brittany. She was gun shy , purchased as a started dog. Summer camp at a terrific trainer cured her. She had a nice point today and loves her roosters, huns, and bobwhite!

Pretty good season so far for me and my dogs. Pheasant, quail, and woodcock. Hoping to make a trip to the SW for some other types of quail before the season is over

Sorry Goose, but not everyone has wild birds nearby. What is the alternative, no bird contact?? Or everyone get on the bus to Goose's hunting ground?? Any birds are better than no birds. I don't have Montana plates on my rig.

If you notice it says shoot not hunt as it was for training purposes. I use this available resource as I didn’t have time to travel to better wild populations. I know you don’t think you need to train your pup because you have magical labs but I am guaranteeing future success with positive contacts.
I see your magic labs fighting over a bird. Does that make it more tender?

The puppy is trying to take bird from 10 year old pro.Puppy has made 3 retrieves and run down 3.I did no training except throwing a ball a little. They do range out.

These places are popping up all over the place. I am not condoning this.

Hahaha thanks for proving my point. In 2 hours I nearly tripled your bird contacts. Had 11 retrieves, caught 1 out of the air, never went out of range(I like 10 to 15 yards) and didn’t try to take anything from another dog. Heck, even pointed one.
It’s a training tool, a mom and pop operation, and been there longer than you’ve been pheasant hunting. I’ll gladly use that resource to improve my dogs and let them have a little fun when I don’t have time to travel.

Enjoy your time with your dogs !!

This site is pretty broad mix of people with vastly different backgrounds. Goosemaster is for the most part; one of a kind on this site. I like his antics because it takes interest on this site up a notch or two. Others feel less so.
