Hahaha thanks for proving my point. In 2 hours I nearly tripled your bird contacts. Had 11 retrieves, caught 1 out of the air, never went out of range(I like 10 to 15 yards) and didn’t try to take anything from another dog. Heck, even pointed one.
It’s a training tool, a mom and pop operation, and been there longer than you’ve been pheasant hunting. I’ll gladly use that resource to improve my dogs and let them have a little fun when I don’t have time to travel.
So eleven tame birds does that even count🤣
lol don’t take it personal just stirring the pot😆

I've never seen a lab point.
My lab started pointing after hunting with my britts, she also learned the point tone on the beeper and would charge in and flush the bird. Great when you are close suckered when out of gun range. The lab pointed woodcock, grouse and pheasants.

Sorry Goose, but not everyone has wild birds nearby. What is the alternative, no bird contact?? Or everyone get on the bus to Goose's hunting ground?? Any birds are better than no birds. I don't have Montana plates on my rig.
I guess it's ok.
