If you were getting 1 rifle?

Thanks. I have pretty well decided on the .243. But I would really like a Lever action, .... just because. The one that I am looking at is the Browning BLR. But good luck finding one. I was in 2 Cabela's and 2 other gun shops, they have sold so many guns that the picking is pretty slim.

Have you tried the online gun library? I have never checked into it, so I have no idea how up to date they keep it. As of right now they have 2 .243 BLR's listed.

Thanks Mike
I saw the one that is pending sale, that is the style that I would like. The other one I did not see the other day.

I need to find one in the area, so that I can see if I really like the feel of it. I did get to look at a .22 BLR, it was really smooth.

Steve,

Take a look at Marlin's XL-7 in .270. I own one and it is more accurate then the guy shooting it. Put 100 gr pill in it for coyotes and 130 grain for deer, or for that matter anything save for brown bear, in North America.

And don't let coyotes get Indy!

Thanks
I think I found out why I was seeing some many coyotes there. Found a dead cow just over the back fence on the neighbors land. Its now pretty picked over.

But there are still coyotes tracks all over. So there will likely need to be some lead flying still.
