I have just been diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease which does not come as a surprise after the last 6 months of lab work. I have been dealing with symptoms for over a year.
While there is no cure, there are medications which slow the progression considerably.
While I drag my leg a bit, I was able to hunt this season without any difficulty.
At 44 years of age, I fully intend on at least a couple more decades of bird hunting ahead of me. I will continue to treasure every hour spent afield with my dogs.
I've found that a positive attitude and a good support system (wife) makes all the difference in the world.
Happy Hunting,
Lefty
