First Time to SD

First time to SD

I have another question I think I can almost answer myself but I'll ask to be sure and to make sure I don't miss any important detail as far as the reg's go.

Regarding public lands, are they all "Steel Shot" in South Dakota or is it just the ones with water on them? I searched the regulations (limited time) and didn't find anything as of yet. I will go back and search some more later.

I'm seeing lots of discussion on other threads here discussing Steel Shot. This is what's making me ask the question.:rolleyes:
 
Steel or equilavent on all public, lead is ok on private and walk-in areas is how I understand it.

I thought the Walk-Ins and Public were one in the same. I need to reread the details of each a little closer I guess.
