I was cheering for the Rabbits but like you said, NDSU was the better team today. That fumble in the first half deep in their own territory was the difference in the game. The Bison have a really tough opponent in MSU on Jan. 6th. Tommy Mellott is outstanding. But I'll be rooting for the Bison. Should be a good game.

Always enjoy watching NDSU. My high school football coach, who recently retired as the winningest high school football coach in Wisconsin history and 2nd in the nation, played for NDSU. He was on the '68 and '69 national title teams. He was inducted in to the Bison Athletic Hall of Fame in 1981.
His son, who I played with in high school and is a friend, also went on to play quarterback at NDSU.
Alot of Wisconsin kids end up at NDSU.
Great school and great programs.

Dad was on the Bison team briefly after the Navy. He was a top ND HS player (RB) before his service. Knee went out and that was it. Probably ACL. He never said and they would not have been able to do much then anyways

My daughter is a 3rd gen Bison grad.

People forget they were a DII powerhouse before the run to D1 became the thing to do
