Custom 25-20 SxS being built

now that is a sweet smoke pole for alittle one
 
Darn filters at work won't let me see it :(

Dad's got an old Marlin 1894 in .25-20, made in 1906, was his great (great great?) uncles I believe. He's killed a pile of squirrels shooting his own cast bullets with it and even a little 8 point buck one time just so he could say he did-
 
A guy I know, machinist by trade, once converted a 20 ga BSS to .458 Winchester. He asked me if I'd like to shoot it.

I said "no thanks".

The recoil must have been devastating. As far as I know, it never blew up.
 
Very Nice. Thanks for sharing. The work looks good , I wonder If it changed the balence of the gun at all?
