Are you Break Open 2 barrel (O/U and SXS) or Autoloader guy

In September, I use S x S’s almost exclusively for prairie grouse and huns…28 gauge and 20 gauge…sometimes I’ll use O/U’s, same gauges…but not too often…about 12 days of hunting, love it more than any hunting I do. I’ve been using my Benelli ultralight 12 gauge thus far in SD…usually use some doubles, haven’t yet, but will…really enjoy my Parker Repro 28 gauge…next week, I believe I’ll carry it a bit…

I really want a nice little 28 ga SxS for dove hunting. Just gotta find the right one I guess.

I’ve got 2 AYA 20 gauges, a box lock and a sidelock…a step up from Ugartechea…but both are fantastic makers from the Eibar region of Spain, where virtually all Spanish guns have come from…Grulla, Arrieta, Garbi, etc…

* 12ga Browning Gold Hunter Semi-Auto as my waterfowl gun, also backup gun when I travel to the Dakotas.
*12ga Browning Cynergy Synthetic O/U as my primary upland gun.
*20ga Ithaca SXS that was my Father's......he passed in 1999 at the age of 58 when I was 24......he had that gun as long as I could remember.....I use it for grouse and woodcock trips and make it a point to shoot a rooster or two with it every year.

My second shotgun as a teenager was a Rem 870 plain 26" barrel 12 ga I bought new at Gemco for $120 over the counter. I wore the blueing off that gun I shot it so much for many many yearts
