My dog pointed an albino on public land last season. I walked up, flushed the bird and was quite startled. I was fairly close to a farmyard and at first thought it was a chicken. As it leveled off I could see the long tail and red around the eyes and knew it was a rooster pheasant. It presented a good shot, but I let it pass. About 15 years ago, one of my hunting partners shot a mostly-white partial albino in SD, a pretty bird. Back in the 70's, I was hunting partridge before the MN pheasant season was open. I had a long flush on a fenceline on public land. There were 6 or more pheasants flushing all at once and they were mostly white, a couple of them looked all white.
