Went out today around noon. Very humid and hot. Addie did very well, but was getting overheated, so we called it early

Did manage to get a double, so happy with that

Hey all, went out today after Mass, just had a couple hours before it got hot.

Didn't see many at all. In fact just got up one small group. Managed to get two. Also jumped some huns, got two, but lost one, damn!

Addie did very well, very happy with her!

Hey all, number 1 son, Will is back home for a week long hunt. Today we did well. We each got 2 Huns. Will got a scotch double on one group we got up! I just got 2 singles. We also each got a grouse. Addie did extremely well, she's turning into a top notch dog.

Will used his 20ga BSS and I used my 20ga Iside EM

Hey all, Will and I went out and hit a couple spots. Very slow.....almost downright poor hunting.

Last place we hit got up two and I managed to get a double. So, not all was lost!

Addie did well as always.

Hey all, my son, daughter, and grandson and I went out for a morning hunt prior to it getting hot this afternoon.

We did well, I managed to limit (first time this year), and my son managed two. Addie did very well.....good retrieves and good points. Didn't run into any groups, just singles.

I just returned from Scotland hunting and salmon fishing.

Three guys came with me who are regulars at my SD pheasant hunting house.

We had a super time seeing historic sights such as castles, battlefields, standing stones, a Broch, Black Houses, cairns, etc.

Grouse hunting on the moors with pointing dogs was a spectacular experience.

Well Greg how was the pheasant opener?

Hey all, well, opener was terrible! High winds (20 to 35) all weekend. Got out for about an hour on Saturday.......got blowned back to the truck!

Today was a much better day. Low winds, cool, nice walking weather.

Addie did well as always, she got me a limit! Saw quite a few, but some very spooky.

Anyway. I used my 12ga AyA XXV SLE, didn't fail me!

My opener was pretty good, a little breezy but not terrible.
Not a great picture but a great day. First sharpie limit and my first hun!

I think I might have to come visit y'all every year.
