2024 Season In Pictures, Guns, Game And Dogs

Hey all, another nice day, but like yesterday the roads to our areas were pretty slick and soupy. Couldn't get to them so had to switch gears.

The birds were pretty wild, but Addie was able to pin one down and a covey of Huns. Was able to get a double on the Huns, so was happy with that

I used my 16b Charles Hellis

Stay well my friends

Greg

I'm starting to look at your pics out of the corner of my eye. I switch guns once and can't hit a bull in the ass with a base fiddle! But you use a different classic every day??? Maybe you really shoot them with a beat up old 1100 and are a master cut and paster instead of a master shotgunner. 🍻.

I'm far from a master shotgunner, just average. All the guns I use fit me, so that's probably why I can shoot different guns effectively. It also helps to have a good dog!

The guns I'll shoot are SxS's. Been shooting them for the last 46 years. I just love them.

Stay well

My grandson and I had a great time in an unnamed southwestern state. Had some glitches including both being sick a couple days but persevered. Grandson had never shot at a quail. Missed the 1st shot then proceeded to smack down 22 in basically 2.5 days. Also celebrated his 21st birthday there. Thanks to a great guy and fellow member here. You know who you are!!

That kinda hits home

That kinda hits home
I have a lot of free time and watch a lot of these videos, it might be I’m prejudiced to black labs, but I think your dog and Kung Pows dogs are operating at a higher level than most, probably been through a formal program if I had to guess. It would be cool if at the end of the season you made a highlight video of every bird you shoot with about 30 seconds for each bird. That’s a nice dog you have.
