I noticed that you like to wait a while before you shoot. Here's a video of our hunt this past Saturday.
I noticed that you like to wait a while before you shoot.
Sometimes the instant I pull the trigger it feels wrong.Goose, those are slo-mo clips.
Sorry, I couldn't resist. I suppose maybe I wait. But boy, the instant it feels right, I pull the trigger.
It seems like you count to 3.Goose, those are slo-mo clips.

My shots feel wrong when the bird keeps going, untouched. Got a big dose of feeling wrong today in the mini hurricane, in SW MN.Sometimes the instant I pull the trigger it feels wrong.
Huh.It seems like you count to 3.
When it's right for me, everything's in slow motion. I can almost see the shot column grab the bird and drag it down like the dude in the end of the Ghost movie when the grim reaper gets him. When it's wrong for me, everything seems in hyper mode. I know when I pull the trigger what's going to happen typically.Sometimes the instant I pull the trigger it feels wrong.
I'm glad you didn't vaporize that.Ace's & my hunt last Sunday.
Goose, I waited on one in this video. But only until I caught up to him & it felt right.
I noticed he rarely misses (or rarely publishes his misses). I don't always keep up on the videos, but I believe I saw a rare miss on the latest video. It didn't seem to affect the end of the day results though -- 3 birds appears to be the norm. I think I need to hunt around more white cows.I noticed that you like to wait a while before you shoot.
Yeah real intense guy.Im way more laid back. When I was in my 20s and 30s I was more focused on limits.I noticed he rarely misses (or rarely publishes his misses). I think this is the reason you want to run river and Jonesy against Sage and Nila. Their owner is way more laid back. If you tried to run a dog against Ace then you'd have to deal with his owner. That guy is too high strung.Yeah real intense guy.Im way more laid back. When I was in my 20s and 30s I was more focused on limits.

Days when I get 3 are more interesting films for me, my primary audience.
Good to know. Whenever I get around to publishing my videos, they should be darn "interesting".I try to include some misses, but honestly, most of them are pretty long pokes & not all that interesting. The close, gimme misses, now those are interesting, heartbreaking, infuriating, & funny.
Both those guys are way into it.They both have great dogs. They blast birds in slow motion! how do they do that??I think this is the reason you want to run river and Jonesy against Sage and Nila.
