1950s Browning 16 gauge

Maybe I'm weird. My Auto-5 is a Japanese model made in 1990. Seems to me the Japanese are/were awfully good at manufacturing stuff, particularly around that time period. Think Toyota & Honda. Modern, high quality materials put together in a country at the forefront of processes like CNC machining. I've had one little extractor break that was easy to replace by myself. Otherwise the fit, finish, feel, & performance have been flawless. I find it usually compensates for operator error, although not 100% of the time. Plus....interchangeable choke tubes.
