I have noticed sometimes pheasant meat will be really tender and sometimes tough using the same cooking technique. Is this a product of how quickly they died or how they bled out.

It looks like another year will come and go with no snow during the hunting season. I kind of like hunting in the snow. Definitely groups the birds up.

Has any one tried this on Pheasants or Ducks for that matter. Was thinking it might be a good non-toxic load.
