Three+ barrel scatterguns have been around for over a hundred years and have yet to prove any value beyond the age of 13.

I actually got to shoulder one last winter at a gun show I was working in TX and I found it just weird and heavy. Kinda more of a novelty I believe.

idiot proof waterfowl gun. No short plug issues.
No short plug issues. An article last year in Shooting Sportsmen, had a 4 barrel, I believe 10ga they profiled. Probably 2 7/8" chambers, but the whomp would be a fright, this guy shot in the back yard, with his favorite Lab near by. Of course not legal for waterfowl here, there they use 8ga. I doubt an ease in regulation will spawn a resurgence anyway.
