Just purchased a LNIB Franchi Instinct SL 16 O/U from a gentlemen on the Texas Hunting Forum. $1070 shipped to my door. I don't think I did too bad. I'll keep you posted when it arrives.

I have the opportunity to trade for a Rizzini Artemis 12 gauge. Gun is pristine with beautiful wood. Going to cost me one of my 28 gauge O/U's and some cash. Anybody have any experience with the Rizzini...pros/cons, comments?
Thanks,
Jim
Well it's been nearly three months and Lady has great days and really bad days. Still very scared and not quite willing to get close; however, I have a new secret weapon...a granddaughter and a dog seem to go together like peas and carrots. Here is Emory and Lady. It's going to take some time...

As I work with Texas GSP Rescue and have personally rescued many GSP's, I may have just met the most unique GSP ever. Her name is lady and she's two years old. Unfortunatley she was thrown in a metal cage in a house for a year. Weighs 28 pounds. My wife has fell in love and is nursing her...
A couple of years old but brand new never worn Filson Tin Cloth Upland Vest (regular size). Still have the oil tin as well. I'll ship it to your door for $100; PayPal gift preferred.
As always, my old GSP Taz gets to go out on our screened in porch. While preparing lunch, I though I would go pet him and walk out to find the screen door destroyed. It's been three days and nothing. Our neighbors saw him walk into the field (135) acres across from my house. Several of us on...
Was perusing the Muller choke page and came across this article. Kind of makes sense. What does the UPH crew think?
Here is my experience regarding shot shell velocity in a nutshell: the faster you push the payload the more you and your accuracy will suffer.

Just traded for a mint condition Winchester 101 Pigeon Grade XTR 20 gauge. Gun points well and is very light. I'm anxious to give it a try. I'll post pics later. Just sharing my excitement...I love 20 gauge O/U's.
I have tried all types and styles of vests including WingWorks. I ditched the vest this past weekend and wore a cheap game belt and liked it. Shouldered the gun much better. Carried shells, water and even a phez and had no issues. So, any of you wear a belt and if so, suggestions or comments?

So I've come to the conclusion that with the exception of my Browning Sweet 16, that I shoot my over and under 20's better than anything else. After years of hunts, I have the can of cast off shells and usually grab what's available. But...for those of you who shoot 20's at pheasants; do you...
Had a post about my new GSP given to me by my son and a comment about him so I though "what the heck" I'll just post the whole JMc crew...so here are my three boys, with two of their better half's, my boss, and the grandaughter.
Duke will be joining the family in a few weeks. He has been one of the guide dogs at my son's place: www.ggsportsman.com. Jax was my Christmas present two years ago and now Duke is another gift from my son. I must be doing something right.
