Not sure about the quarantine requirements for out of state hunters right now. I’m sure that others who know more than I will chime in shortly.
I hunt my own land for bobwhites, in prime quail country. I’m about an hour away from pheasant country. My favorite place to go is about 4 hours away, which is no big deal for a weekend hunt.

I think you sum it up very nicely. While some years may result in more birds in the bag than others; pheasant hunting in Kansas is an experience. One I wouldn’t trade for any other.
