A lot of it is the "lost generation" that never had any exposure. My neighbor and his son always watch me working with my GSP -one day I just flat out asked if they'd ever bird hunted. Neither had so I invited them along. Hats off to the dad who said he had no interest but let me take his 15 year old this past saturday. We shot a round of sporting clays and then he shot his first quail (after many, many misses and some fun ribbing from me). He ended up getting a dozen birds and was whooped by the end of th morning. I told him it's a sad statement when an old silver hair like me can out walk a fifteen yr. old wrestler in his prime. Needless to say, he's hooked and is already asking when he can go again. His dad called me last night and wanted to thank me since it seems his son has told him of the guns and clothes "he needs"
