Harley, Queenie, and I did a quick after work hunt this afternoon. That little LH Franchi Affinity 26" 20 gauge is proving to be a rooster's nightmare. You gotta love Queenie, she always has a smile on her face...

You boys that can hunt Huns are remarkable. I bet we saw at least 30 covey last year. Know how many we got. Only 8. They’re are on my hit list next week. Ha!
 
Hey all, went out solo today, good day, was able to limit in a couple hours. Of course the star of the day was Addie!

Hey all, went out today for a bit. Sawa few, mostly wild flushes. Did lose one, even Addie couldn't find him.

Did manage two in the bag however. I used my 16ga FN to bsg them.

Hey all, only had time for a short hour hunt. Flushed a few hens and only one boy bird (now in the freezer). It was a beautiful day and Addie did well again.

Used my 12b Holland and Holland Royal today.

Hey all, got out for a couple hours today. Yesterday's rain made some of the roads to my good spots slippery and greasey, so went to a couple other areas.

Was able to get two. Birds were a bit skiddish today. Still two is better than none.

Addie did well again, very happy with her!

Used my 12b Jospeh Harkom today.

Flushed some hens, but did managed one.

Still, good to get out!

Hey all, went out today solo, it was a beautiful day! 70 degrees and very low wind, like almost none!

Down side was the birds were really spooky! Typical late season behavior. Still Addie was able to pin a couple (I did lose one unfortunately)

One gave Addie a merry chase, but she got him!

Used my 12b Cogswell and Harrison Konor

Yes I have. Austrian maker. He made quality guns, most with typical Germanic engraving, high relief, oakleaves and game scenes. Some had standard engraving however.

You don't see them come up for sale very often
