Guess I'm stuck in traditions. The last two days of the season are a must hunt for me so I'm off to the Happy Hunting Grounds in NW. I'll get depressed if I don't <so sad>.
Chokes are mod and full for the few very spooky birds. Trying to think up a strategy from field to field. If a certain group of cattle have been moved, should have some shooting in a weedy wind break that has not yet been hunted. Have a new permission in a currently low bird number area, but it might be worth a try. It's a wide and weedy fence row/terrace perfect for two guys and two dogs. Whatever the outcome, it beats hanging around town and wondering, "What if . . .?" Good luck to all who are heading out.
