Quail hunt video

I took Ace and Indy out for a quail hunt this morning.

Indy has really been running well and is getting on the birds before Ace most of the time.

Wasn't real happy with Indy moving as I went in front to flush. Ace moves after Indy moves.... well got something work on in training.

Really should have picked Indy up and put him back when he moved.
Got to keep the rules in place when hunting or the training backslides.

Yes, it's Ks. That is pretty good cover for this season, but short for normal years.

This was todays hunt. Bill is Ace's breeder and he brought Ace's mom and uncle who are now both 10 yo and still getting after the birds.
