I read "Undaunted Courage" that was a great book. If you're also a history buff I'd recommend Teddy Roosevelt's "Hunting Trips of a Ranchman" and "The Wilderness Hunter".

With bird hunting as the subject my favorite is a compilation book by Tom Davis called "The Tattered Autumn Sky".

Not being a pointy dog guy I never completely connected with it but "Pheasants Of The Mind" by Datus Proper is well written.

Have not read them in years but "A High, Lonesome Call" and "A Pheasant Hunters Notebook" were OK winter reads.

I agree. The Datus Proper and Larry Brown books you mentioned are both pretty good reads. I'll have to take a look at the Tom Davis book.

what you kidding me? thats my bathroom!! i cant afford the luxury of a toliet. my wife drives a sewer septic tank truck to work and does the sewer draining on the side.
