My company treated me to a new shotgun for a year-end bonus. I chose, sight unseen, the Winchester 101 12 ga. Light Field. I have a Winchester model 70 .30-06 and I liked the idea of having a Winchester gun too. Tradition, you know. It is fantastic and far more beautiful than I anticipated for its price point. It weighs but six pounds so it's great for the 8 - 9 mile days we sometimes put in huntin' the High Plains of Kansas. I noticed the difference right away in recoil too with its Packmayr pad, whereas my Citori is padless.
