What do you use? What do you want?

1. Browning Citori Classic Lightning 20
2. Browning Citori Gran Lightning 16
3. Browning Citori 725 12
4. Browning MAXUS 12

I can't imagine needing (or wishing) for anything else that might come along. These four surely take care of all my bird hunting efforts.

Well, in the original post I said I wasn't interested in anymore field guns unless it was a quality side by side 16 guage, and then I went and bought an Ithaca 37 16 guage to match my 20 guage yesterday. So much for self restraint.

I have a Rem 1100 20ga lightweight that I bought in highschool. I shoot it great, but my son has been using it.
I also have a Barretta 20ga O/U that I like a lot.

At some point (after my son is out of college and I replace both cars ) I would like to get a nice 20 ga SxS, maybe and AyA.

The ones I use:

Browning Citori Hunter 12ga
Browning Citori Satin Hunter 20ga
Ruger M77 7mm Rem Mag

Others: Too many to list

Wants: Dakota 10 in 30-06

I use a Beretta 686 20ga for pheasants, ducks and even the occasional goose.

Quail and doves it's a Renatto Gamba Principessa 28ga SxS. I'm going to give it a shot for early seasons pheasants too. That pattern is awfully close to my 20ga and the barrel is 2in longer.

For deer I still use the 20ga 870 Wingmaster I've shot since I was 12. I've killed more stuff with that thing than I can remember including quite a few very nice deer. I deer hunt in a shotgun only area.

My go-to rifle is my Remington M700 mountain rifle in 7mm-08. I've killed countless whitetail with it. My go-to shotty is my Beretta A390 St. I've shot numerous ducks, Canada geese, and all types of upland with it. It has a few battle scars, but to me, they are all memories of great times in the field.

Ruger Red Label 12 gauge.......pheasants and doves
Remington 11-87 12 gauge......waterfowl
Remington 11-87 Premier wood stock 20 guage......Pheasants and doves
Savage .243 simmons optics........varmits
CVA Apex 50 cal. m/l scoped with simmons optics.......deer
Marlin 336 30-30 scoped with simmons optics.......... varmits and target
Marlin golden mountie lever action .22............blinking
Glenfield bolt action 22...........blinking
and a couple of semi auto 22 that just collect dust in the gun safe.

Would like to add a nice .270 and a nice waterfowl shotgun, not sure what make.

I like my .270 in Browning A-bolt medallion. I shot my biggest buck to date with it. Roughly 150" whitetail. It's a nice versatile round. Might be willing to part with mine this fall once I get home.

1. Browning 625 Citori 12 ga.
2. Browning White Lightning Citori 12 ga.
3. Stoeger Condor II 12 ga.
4. Savage .22 Win. mag w/Tasco scope
5. Winchester Model 70 Sporter .30-06 w/Nikon scope
6. Colt Anaconda .44 mag

'Bout all I need.

which browning o and u do u like the best ?i am looking at the white lightening the super light feather maybe a cynergy any suggestions?

I've shot the older style original A bolt, which was OK. I have the medallion, which I really like. It's a large bodied gun, but it still fits well. They look really good too. I've handled the X-bold but never fired one. That one is really comfortable. Pretty much any of Brownings are all around good guns. With the .270, I like the 140 gr Federal Nosler AccuBond. I recovered a bullet that expanded flawlessly out of my big buck. Went in behind the shoulder and stopped right up against the hide in the neck on the opposite side after hitting some bone. Great wound channel. I would think the feather weight would be nice to gut down on the size.

Say it with me: ``The first step is to admit you have a shotgun problem...'' :D

I shoot a super black eagle, but I am really wanting to find an older Franchi AL48. I have always thought they were a cool gun and that one would be awesome to carry around on those long hunts.

The reality is... It doesn't matter as I am a below average shot no matter what is in my hands.

HAHA! Hey, if you're going to miss, you may as well look good doing it!

Browning 625 (12 ga., 28") for upland
Stoeger Condor (12 ga., 26") for turkey

My go to gun for pheasant and sharptail is a Rizzini 12 ga sxs.

Pretty much everything else I hunt upland is with an old, battered Beretta 686 o/u 12ga.

My waterfowl gun is a Mossberg 500 12ga with the synthetic furniture. Ugly as sin but keep son working.

Hunting with a new gun this Fall, a 12 ga Webley and Scott (really made by Fausti of Italy - they just bought the W&S name) sxs my girlfriend bought me as a gift. Not worth much $ but now the gun I value the most in my safe. :)

CZ Ringneck 12g SxS
Winchester SX2 Field Light

I have a few more but these are the 2 i use the most.
