Waterfowl limits increased

Canada goose Limits went from 3 to 6
Snow goose limits went from 20 to 50
Specklebellys stayed the same
All duck limits went from 5 to 6
 
Teal season went from 4 to 6 too. My son called all excited! He's gone to the dark side and is a dyed in the wool waterfowler! I enjoy watching him in the field. I do wish we hadn't lost our private pond some years back. He really did well there.
 
Has anyone heard how the Cheyenne bottoms are looking? Seems like that area of kansas has been getting good moisture this summer.

I don't know for sure, but I am pretty sure several of these storms will have put lots of rain in that area.
 
I heard quivera and mcpherson are full, jamestown? Cheyenne bottoms is not
They have received recent rain but no sustained runoff from the feeder creeks.
 
Dad said it had some water before yesterday's rain.....We heard this morning that there was some flash flooding last night!
 
I don't think it's been mentioned, but the possession limit went from 2X to 3X the daily bag limit.
